Board of Commissioners Approves Next Round of Road Paving

Another 35 roads are approved for paving by the Board of Commissioners with work to begin in the spring/summer of 2026 using SPLOST (Special Purpose Local Option) and LMIG (Local Maintenance & Improvement Grant from Georgia D.O.T.) funds. This is in addition to the 78 roads already approved for paving by end of spring.
The newest list of 35 roads to be paved in the summer 2026 includes: Lovinggood Road; Cottonwood Mill Road; Thompson Hill Road; Condra Road; Mineral Avenue; Walker Road; roads in the Battlefield Golf subdivision; roads in the Mitchell Acres subdivision; roads in the Duncan Park subdivision; roads in the Callaway Farms subdivision; Dalton Lane; Magnolia Place; Mountain Brooke Drive; Nancy Ward Road.
The previously approved list of 78 roads to be paved by the end of spring 2026 includes: roads in the Lynwood/Cordell subdivision; roads in the Baggett Estates subdivision; roads in the Battlefield Parkway Estates subdivision; roads in the Old Mill Trace subdivision; roads in the Cinderella Hills/Brent Estates subdivision; roads in the Rolling Hills subdivision; roads in the Council Embers subdivision; roads in the Hidden Trace subdivision; roads in the Lehon Estates subdivision; roads in the Mill Creek subdivision; roads in the Hickory Hills subdivision; roads in the Holcomb Road subdivision; roads in the Poplar Springs subdivision; roads in the Stonecrest subdivision.
So far in 2025, 24 roads have been paved using SPLOST and LMIG funds. When combined with the roads now scheduled for paving through 2026, Catoosa County residents and visitors will benefit from a record number of road miles paved during an 18-month period.
