Catoosa County Fireworks Fest Grows Bigger Than Ever

Post Date:06/07/2024

Building on the success of the Catoosa County Fireworks Fest since beginning in 2020, Northwest Georgia’s premier celebration of America’s Independence grows to the largest event yet with even more family friendly entertainment options, more time to enjoy them, and an even bigger fireworks display.

Sponsored by CHI Memorial, this year’s Catoosa County Fireworks Fest will begin earlier at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 6, and build to a spectacular 20-minute fireworks display after sunset. The music-themed fireworks display produced by Pyro Shows will feature more than 2,000 fireworks with a grand finale reaching altitudes of more than 700 feet and a blast diameter of over 600 feet.

All activities at the Fireworks Fest remain free of charge including a Kid’s Zone with inflatables, petting zoo, face painting, live music at the Northwest Georgia Amphitheater, and of course the fireworks display.

Catoosa County Parks & Recreation in partnership with Charlotte Grace Events will provide a Maker’s Market inside The Colonnade and a wide variety of food and refreshment options for purchase. Altogether families will have more than 100 vendors to shop for art, crafts, and craftsman-made items as well as delicious food and non-alcoholic beverages.

Live music on the Northwest Georgia Amphitheater stage begins at 6:00 p.m. with “New Grass Express” opening the show. The second musical act is country music singer and songwriter Robby Hopkins, regional winner of NASH Next for the Chattanooga area, NASH Icon 107.9, and Nashville Rising Star winner. Local favorite “Love, Peace & Happiness Band” will then headline the Fireworks Fest bringing their energy and excitement to elevate the crowd to the fireworks display.

The Fireworks Fest schedule of events this year includes:

  • 11:00 a.m. until sunset – Kid’s Zone (outdoors) and Makers Market (indoors)
  • 11:00 a.m. - Live music performances begin inside The Colonnade
  • 6:00 p.m.   - Live music performances begin outdoors on the Northwest Georgia Amphitheater stage
  • 9:30 p.m.   - Fireworks display begins

The Fireworks Fest will be on the Benton Place campus, home to The Colonnade and other county facilities at 264 Catoosa Circle, Ringgold.
